- Started at 11 years old in pencil and charcoal with Magdalena Casamadrid.
- Pastel and oil with José Suárez Olvera between 1958 and 1960.
- Nude paintings with Arq. Pedro Medina.

Artistic and professional accomplishments
- Work with Mtro. Suárez Olvera on the side murals of the church San Francisco in the Centro Histórico in Mexico City.
- Work with Mtro. Suárez Olvera on the mural of the abside of the church Santa Rita de Casia in Villa de Cortéz (Mexico).
- Oil paintings for the church Notre Dame in Decoto, California with partners Enrique Velasco and Alberto Leonel de Cervantes.
- Portraits in oil and pastel.
- Collective and individual exhibitions.
- Practice of design and construction in private firm, as well as community development in rural and urban zones, collaborating with para-governmental agencies.
- Professor of design and architectonic expression in the School of Architecture of UNAM and Universidad Iberoamericana
